Welcome on my webpage!
I am looking for research positions this year, in optimization, statistics, and related fields.
In January 2025, I completed my PhD in the INRIA Saclay team OPIS under the supervision of Emilie Chouzenoux and VĂctor Elvira.
Recently, I spent a lot of time approximating probability distributions by minimizing statistical divergences. More broadly, my research interests are in:
- Convex analysis and its generalisations, as well as optimisation algorithms with a non-Euclidean twist (mirror descent, Bregman-based methods, natural gradients,...),
- Monte Carlo methods and inference algorithms, such as adaptive importance sampling, variational inference, and evolution strategies,
- Optimal control and viability of dynamical systems, focusing on biological processes such as the chemostat.
