I am a PhD student (from October 2021 to January 2025) in the INRIA Saclay team OPIS, working under the supervision of Emilie Chouzenoux and Víctor Elvira.I am interested in the following topics:
- Monte Carlo methods and inference algorithms, such as adaptive importance sampling, variational inference, and evolution strategies,
- Optimization algorithms, especially in non-Euclidean settings (mirror descent, Bregman-based methods, natural gradients,...),
- Convex analysis and generalized/abstract convexity,
- Optimal control and viability of dynamical systems, focusing on biological processes such as the chemostat.
