Welcome on my webpage!
I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at Statify, a joint team of INRIA Grenoble Alpes and Laboratoire Jean Kuntzmann.
In January 2025, I completed my PhD in the INRIA Saclay team OPIS under the supervision of Emilie Chouzenoux and VĂctor Elvira.
Recently, I spent a lot of time approximating probability distributions by minimizing statistical divergences. More broadly, my research interests are in:
- Stochastic optimization algorithms with a non-Euclidean twist (mirror descent, Bregman-based methods, natural gradients) as well as generalized/abstract convex analysis,
- Theoretical foundations of methods used for Bayesian statistics (adaptive importance sampling, variational inference) and global optimization (evolution strategies),
- Optimal control and viability of dynamical systems, focusing on biological processes such as the chemostat.
